"Glorifying the Lord Jesus Christ and making Him known by presenting the Bible message of salvation"

Christian Women’s Club is an evangelical and non-denominational outreach club for women of all ages, ethnicity, status, colour and creed for the purpose of reaching out to the lost souls in a bid to win them for the Lord.

The club started off in Nigeria, in 1984. It was established to organise outreaches at communities, States and national levels so as to ensure fulfilment of mandate of the Lord in Matthew 28:19.. “Go ye therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father…”

CWC is an outreach arm of Stonecroft Ministries founded by Mrs. Helen Baugh in 1938. In 1948, Miss Mary Clark a former business woman/missionary joined Mrs. Baugh and within a year they launched the first Christian Women’s Club in 1958.

The Ministry has a very large heritage. The greatest desire is to see Jesus Christ honoured and lifted high so that people will be drawn to Him.

What We Do

Christian Women’s Club organise Christian Business Professional Women, Couples Clubs, yearly celebrations of Mother and Fathers Day for Teenagers and Youths drawn from different secondary schools. We also organise camp meetings for Teens and Twenties where various programmes are featured to build their Christian lives and values as they grow physically, spiritually and mentally.

Workshops And Seminars

CWC also organises outreaches, conferences and seminars. This may involve a one or two day event planned to inform, encourage and inspire locally, nationally and internationally.

From time to time, we organise workshops for skill acquisition as a way of empowering young women to make wealth and help build their families. The women are taught the following:

  • Hat and bead making, tying and preservation of Gele
  • Soap making (both liquid wash and bar soap)
  • Small scale juice production (various kinds)
  • Tie and Dye etc.

We do all these in a relaxed atmosphere which provides an opportunity for a speaker to share relevant information as it concerns today’s woman, including the reality of Jesus Christ, and how to become a Christian.
