Friendship Bible Fellowship Ministries is a Christian organization with burning desire for women to know God and grow in their relationships with Him, for we firmly believe in the maxim that when you train women, you are training a whole nation or generations yet unborn. By virtue of their make-up, women are more easily able to naturally influence families, friends and communities for the Lord. However, interested men who desire to know, grow and be usable in the Lord’s vineyard are also welcomed.

Our mission is to equip and encourage women to impact their communities with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Friendship Bible Fellowship Ministries is a non-denominational, non-profit organization with the vision of providing leadership in reaching women for Jesus Christ. Volunteers and full-time staff work together to support outreach ministries.

FBFM provides a variety of programs and resources designed to connect women to God, each other and their communities.

We encourage women to find creative ways to make connection with others in their communities. These may be through shared interest groups or as a result of our outreach groups and Bible studies.

Each event includes an entertaining feature and an inspirational speaker who gives personal insight on coming to know God.

Other popular outreach opportunities for women and couples are Stonecroft Bible Studies. These easy-to-follow, small-groups studies infuse biblical truth with thought-provoking questions and discussion.

Stonecroft Bible Studies are meaningful resources for long-time believers, those new to Bible Study and pre-believers.

FBFM Ministries emphasizes evangelism, discipleship, leadership and prayer. This has been the passion of FBFM for over 30 years and it continues to carry us forward in ministry.

The story of FBFM began in a very small way through Mrs. Bunmi Adeniji, an Ambassador’s wife who was introduced to SBS (Stonecroft Bible Studies) while in Geneva. On her return to Nigeria she commenced the Bible Studies with a group of six ladies, Mrs. Bunmi Adeniji, Remi Ayida, Esther Nanna, Hilda Ogunbanjo, Janet Ohiwerei and Abu Bucknor. Each lady at the end of their study of the Book of Mark hosted a new group in her neighbourhood.

As the seed sown by Mrs. Adeniji was about sprouting she was unavoidably posted on official assignment with her husband abroad. After some challenges, the responsibility of running the groups fell on Mrs. Oluremi Ayida (of blessed memory) who was one of the Co-founder and Pioneer National Co-ordinator of SBS (Stonecroft Bible Studies) from 1982 to 2011. Her zeal and enthusiasm knew no bounds as her hunger for God and spreading the good news was insatiable. She started connecting with other women – her friends, colleagues and neighbours and before long SBS groups started springing up in different parts of Lagos stretching to other States in Nigeria.

These gathering paved a new way to bring the message of Jesus Christ to those who did not know God personally.

As the Nigerian groups grew in size the need for an administrative office arose and God used another lady, Mrs. Cecelia Ibru, to make available for our use, a brand new flat she purchased in the centre of Lagos. The Ministry was then registered under the umbrella of an all-embracing Ministry, Friendship Bible Fellowship Ministries (FBFM) which also has other arms:

Stonecroft Bible Studies (SBS) Christian Women Club (CWC) Prayers Cells FBFM Youth Club (FBFMYC) Distribution of Christian Books and Literature Lunch Hour Fellowship Outreaches Welfare Ministry

It is this simple start in 1982 that began the ever-widening circle that has become a national network of outreaches known as FBFM.

FBFM/SBS had an intensive Coordinators training on the 2nd of March, 2015. Facilitator was Mrs. Dupe Allo. It was well attended.

It was held in the board room and there were questions and answers. It was an interactive session and many coordinators were truly enriched and better equipped to cope with their responsibilities for effective service unto our God and His kingdom.
